Video Consignment Program
If you are interested in presenting one of Living Hope's videos, and want to have them on hand to sell to those who are attending, we have provided an easy and risk-free way of doing this.
With LHM's consignment program, you can easily estimate the number of videos you'll need, have them shipped to you, and then can return-ship the remaining unsold or unwanted videos. We will then only charge you for what you actually sold or kept. If you underestimate the number you need, and sell out, you can always take additional orders, and then contact us with how many you need, and we can ship them to you right away.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Experience has shown us that when a video is presented, the optimum number of copies of that videos to have on hand afterward is approximately one video per person in attendance, and we would encourage you to err on the side of getting too many than not enough.
1. Contact us and tell us about your event, and how many you expect to be in attendance OR fill out the consignment order form from our and mail or fax it to us with your credit card information.*
2. We will ship you the requested number of videos (we recommend shipping approximately 2 weeks prior to scheduled event), but will not charge your credit card until after your event.
3. Once the event is over, if there are any videos left over, ship them back to us. We will then charge your credit card only for the videos that you sold or kept (plus shipping costs to send them to you in the first place.)
*You may also send a check for the full amount of the videos at the time of your request, and then we will issue a refund check for the unused videos when they are returned.
HOW MAY I SELL THEM AT AN EVENT?
There are two ways we suggest you sell videos at an event.
1. Sell them at cost. Because we offer them at our cost for the express purpose of encouraging people to get multiple copies to use as ministry tools, we request that you not use the videos as a revenue-generating item. A nominal increase can be tacked on to them to cover the extra shipping expenses (no more than $1 per item), but we are very concerned about keeping the cost down and not making it a hindrance to getting the word out.
2. Request only a donation. By and large, if you encourage people to see the $4 per item as a minimum requested donation, and give them the opportunity to make a freewill donation, then rarely will you not break even or do better. If you have already submitted a credit card number, there will be no need to send us the money you collect, as we will charge your card for just the videos you sold or kept, plus shipping.
If donations brought in an excess, you may decide whether to contribute all or part of that to our ongoing ministry needs. We do not require it, but gladly accept additional donations to help us in furthering our production ministry. If so, let us know the amount to charge your credit card, and it will be receipted properly.
