Dear Partner in Ministry,
We are excited to announce the arrival of the Special Edition
DVD of The Bible vs. The Book of Mormon! This is a must-see!
In addition to the original presentation, the DVD contains 40 minutes of
bonus material with valuable information on important topics that will
further equip you for outreach to Mormons. It’s worth seeing for the bonus
material alone! Featured topics include:
- Textual criticism & the biblical manuscripts
- Has Zarahemla been found?
- Where is the “River Laman?”
- Book of Mormon Tours
- Changes in the Book of Mormon
- Additional discussion of
Mormon apologetics
- Expanded testimonies
- ...and much more!
The Special Edition DVD also contains three selectable language tracks—
English, Spanish, and Portuguese, as well as English subtitles, all of which dramatically increases the
size of the potential audience for this ministry tool!
Now we are turning our attention toward the next ministry tool...and we need your help! Each project
is a major undertaking, involving a year or more of intense work, with significant expenses, including
travel, materials, and equipment, just to name a few. All told, a single project’s cost typically runs in
excess of $100,000! Nevertheless, we are committed to keeping production expenses separate from
the amount we ask for videos. Why? Because we believe their message is important, and we want
widespread distribution of it! And at only $4.00 a copy, that goal can be achieved very economically.
However, the $4.00 just covers the material and distribution costs. Production costs are not factored
in. To produce new projects, we count on donations from those who share our burden to bring
the good news of Jesus to the Mormon people, whom He loves, and for whom He died!
If you have been blessed by previous productions from Living Hope Ministries...if you have found
them informative and helpful to you in your ministry...if they have been useful tools for sharing Jesus with your LDS loved ones, would you prayerfully consider a
financial gift toward the production of this next project, or perhaps
even pledge regular support? As a token of our appreciation, we
will send you a pre-release copy of the Special Edition DVD for a
gift of any amount.
So what will this next project be about? Our previous
productions focused on demonstrating the unreliability of the“keystone” of Mormonism—the Book of Mormon—as well as the
reliability of the Bible. The Bible vs. The Book of Mormon answers
the question: “Is the Book of Mormon comparable to the Bible?” This next project will go even deeper: Is Mormonism Christian?
As you may know from your own experience in witnessing to Mormons, the
struggle to share the true Jesus with Mormons often goes hand-in-hand with
the struggle to differentiate between Mormonism and Christianity.
When we take a look at the unbiblical doctrines found in Mormonism, and when we examine the
troublesome history that leads up to the Mormonism of today, what will we find? What will we
discover when we dig a little deeper into the beginnings of Mormonism? Who were Joseph Smith
and Brigham Young? How did they live, and what did they teach? With all this, will it be so
difficult to answer the question of whether or not Mormonism is Christian?
We have recently begun the interview process. Already we have fascinating
people, intriguing testimonies, and well-educated accounts on tape, and
more are being scheduled. We are excited about this project,
and we believe that as God leads us, the end product will be yet
another powerful tool for witnessing to Mormons, educating
Christians, and pointing people to the true, biblical Jesus Christ!
Please join us in prayer, that God would receive the glory and
draw many to Himself! Please consider also partnering with us
in financial giving, as the Lord enables you, so that we can
make this new project a reality!
